About the artist:

Michael Morgan is a Member of the prestigious Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and a Founding Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. He holds both the RI Medal for his outstanding work as well as their Roland Hilder Landscape Prize.
Michael's innovative and much sought after paintings have been illustrated or featured in many publications, both in the UK and abroad. The first edition of his 2004 book "Michael Morgan RI" sold within ten months of its publication. The revised and updated second edition, containing 30 new paintings together with the original 100, has also sold out and was reprinted in March 2010.
Michael's most recent book, published in 2008 to celebrate his 80th birthday, entitled 80 @ 80 is available from Marine House at Beer.
He has been invited to show his work in London at a watercolour exhibition at the Royal Academy and the Royal Watercolour Society as well as exhibiting annually at the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours. He also shows annually at the South West Academy, of which he is a member.
Every one of his eight solo shows at Marine House has been an outstanding success.
Michael Morgan is represented by Marine House at Beer which is the only commercial gallery in the UK, other than at the RI annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries,the national focal point for contemporary figurative art, where his new original paintings can be obtained. Marine House also manages the production and sale of his limited edition giclee prints.
