About the artist:	HOME East Devon BACKGROUND AND TECHNIQUE Tina studied Fine Art at Exeter College of Art and Design, gaining an honours degree in fine Art and Sculpture. She has developed a fine command of both acrylic and oil painting. Acrylic dominates, as it allows her to capture spontaneously the endlessly changing mood and light of the Exe Estuary, which she views from her studio window. This forms a central theme to her work. SUCCESS Since 2000 Tina has exhibited at Marine House where we always show her work. Her popularity is reinforced at the Affordable Art Fairs in London and Bristol where Tina has regularly proved the most successful artist. Elected to The society of Women’s Artists (SWA), perhaps her greatest accolade was in the winning of the presidents prize at the 150th anniversary show against 8000 other entrants from around the world. COMMENT Tina’s work never tires. These are mood paintings; they are reflective and calming - perfect for today’s stressful world.
