Thomas Petit, Steam Gallery

Thomas Petit started working in blown studio glass in 1991 and has worked in London, New Zealand and several locations in Derbyshire. Thomas has exhibited all over the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Europe. His designs have evolved over the years but he is best known for his abstract landscapes, starting with the Moors and more recently his Seashore ranges which developed from memories of his childhood in East Sussex and frequent family walks over the windswept South Downs & Down estuaries to pebbled beaches and crashing sea waves. All pieces are blown and cold finished by Thomas alone. Several ranges are sandblasted to create a matt finish. Each piece is signed.
