Anne lives in Cheshire.
After completing a BA Hons in Printed Textiles at Manchester Polytechnic in 1982, she won a design stand at Olympia which set her on the road as a freelance designer. She focused on original art, limited edition prints, greetings cards and packaging as well as textile design.
Anne then went on to work as a designer of wallpaper, fabrics and bedding for Arthur Sanderson & Sons before moving back to Manchester to raise a family while also working as an art teacher at colleges of art and design.
Now that her family has grown up, she has resumed her work as a full-time painter and continues to run art classes.
Anne Goldberg's work falls into categories that epitomise her flair for design with an aptitude towards surface decoration. Her signature style, shows her formal training in drawing and painting. The more abstract pieces show a desire to experiment with both paint and mixed Media.
