Lisa is a contemporary abstract artist based in Devon, known for her expressive, deeply textured paintings. Raised on a remote farm in Botswana surrounded by a lineage of painters, she later worked in graphic design and movement psychotherapy before transitioning fully to fine art. Her practice is heavily inspired by the wild Devon countryside, florals, Dartmoor, and the Jurassic Coast. Working intuitively with acrylics, collage, and natural found objects, Lisa creates layered, atmospheric pieces that evoke a visceral connection to the natural world. Her work is regularly exhibited across the South West and nationally, including with the Society of Women Artists.
