Rebecca Barnard gained a degree in Fine Art (with distinction) at Falmouth School of Art. She then moved very successfully into a life as a professional artist. Her works chart the boundary between abstract and landscape. They are structurally stimulating with a highly satisfying colour palette.  Her compositions stem from her depths of imagination and willingness to constantly experiment.

Success

Rebecca has exhibited widely with solo shows in prestige galleries in London, Cambridge, Aldeburgh and Broadway. Her paintings are in private collections worldwide and she has been selected to show at exhibitions at the prestigious Royal West of England Academy and the Society of Women’s Artists (SWA)

Most recently Rebecca was awarded a major prize at the 2024 open show at the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. This is where she caught our attention.
