Jacqueline Roberts Wake
About the artist:
Jackie was educated in Cheshire and studied art at Fyle Lodge. After years of working in watercolour she studied the beautiful art of stained glass work, inspired by the glowing colours seen in the windows of medieval churches all over the world. Jackie's designs for lamps and window hangers are quite unique and the glass she uses is carefully selected for its quality of colour.
She lived Scottish Highlands for 20 years before moving to East Devon. In Scotland she was commissioned to make a set of four windows depicting the seasons for the Lady Chapel of St Boniface Church, Cromarty, as well as a pair of windows depicting 'the Windy Lady' for High Windy Hotel in Cumbria.
